The Ghana Highway Authority, has announced the commencement of works for the installation of crash barriers along the Koforidua-Mamfe-Aburi Highway, Brimso Bridge and the two quadrants opposite the Achimota Forest at the Dimples roundabout.

This initiative follows the successful installation of similar barriers on the Aburi-Nsawam stretch, which has significantly improved road safety and reduced accidents in that corridor.

The Authority during the announcement last Saturday, stated that, site possession has officially been granted to the contractor responsible for the project, Messrs Hacianda Enterprise Ltd,

It added that “This vital road safety exercise aims to protect road users and enhance overall highway safety.”

It further advised motorists to drive with caution around active construction zones.
