Ghana Agriculture News-The Coffee Federation of Ghana (CFG) represented by the President Chief Nathaniel Ebo Nsarko and his first Vice President Mr. Samuel Adimado have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with ACRAM (Agence de cafes robustas d’Afrique et de Madagascar) to speed up the development of Ghana’s coffee sub sector.
The agreement which was signed in Libreville, Gabon Thursday 22nd November 2018 at the 1st ordinary General Assembly of ACRAM will enable the two organizations cooperate and coordinate efforts and share expertise towards the management of coffee on the African continent.

ACRAM, by this document has also committed to assisting CFG secure funding for its activities.
ACRAM primarily promotes robusta coffee from Africa and Madagascar, helps in revenue improvement, livelihood enhancement of coffee farmers, research and development of indigenous development concepts.
The Coffee Federation of Ghana, a few months ago launched an audacious road map for Ghana’s diversification into coffee production at the first ever coffee conference held in Accra.
Hearty chat after signing MoU
Already, the government of Ghana has bought into CFG’s plan and has promised to support the federation with its model coffee farms concept and other aspects of the plan.
President of CFG; Chief Nat Ebo Nsarko who signed the agreement on behalf of the organization said the agreement will help fast track Ghana’s PERD plans to make tree crops including coffee farming lucrative for the various players in the coffee value chain.
