Dr. Mrs. Marion Okoh Owusu, Western Regional Director of Health Services
The Abakomahene of Sefwi Anhwiaso traditional area who is also the chief of Sefwi Ntakam, Nana Kwadwo Somiah has admonished students of Bibiani College of health Sciences who graduated Saturday after 4-year period of study in the school to be humble and eschew arrogance as they enter the world of work.
Nana Somiah who represented the president of the National House of Chiefs and Paramount Chief of Sefwi Anhwiaso traditional area Ogyeahohohe Yaw Gyebi ll , said he has personally witnessed a nurse who treated a patient badly instead of demonstrating professionalism.
He therefore urged them to go and take good care of patients as they go out to perform duties of their calling.
The Western North Regional Director of Health services, Dr. Mrs. Marion Okoh Owusu thanked the principal of the college, Mrs. Florence Annan and her staff for their hard and dedicated work since the establishment of the school till now .
According to her, 110 students being first batch of the school have graduated and over 200 freshers have also been admitted into the school.
She tasked the new students to take IT studies seriously as they enroll to be trained as nurses , adding that her outfit would be bringing an IT manager who will train them as Ghana health services is gradually going paperless in their day to day activities at the various hospitals and clinics across the country.
Some of the graduands who were over joyed expressed their gratitude to God and promised to serve the the nation in all humility.
They also urged parents within Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai and Western North to have faith in the school and bring their wards there to study.
