Members of the Graduate Students’ Association (GRASAG) has issued an ultimatum to the government regarding their “unduly delayed Bursary and Thesis Grants for the 2015/16 academic year”.
They say they will picket at the seat of government if the government fails to release the money by 16th September, 2016.
“All members from both public and private institutions pursuing various Postgraduate programs are entreated to join in this worthy exercise to press home demands for the immediate release of the Bursary & Thesis Grant “, a statement issued by the Association’s National President; Rashid Kwesi Etuaful stated.
The decision to picket was a unanimous one arrived at after a Senate meeting held at the Ghana Technology University College.

ATTENTION! GRASAG PICKETS AT FLAGSTAFF HOUSE ON SEPTEMBER 21
The Graduate Students’ Association of Ghana (GRASAG) has reached a unanimous decision at our First National Senate Meeting held at the Ghana Technology University College (GTUC) on Saturday, 10th September to picket at the Flagstaff House of Ghana if the Ministry of Finance fails to meet our 16th September ultimatum to release the cheques and monies for our unduly delayed Bursary and Thesis Grant for the 2015/2016 academy year.
All members from both public and private institutions pursuing various Postgraduate programs are entreated to join in this worthy exercise to press home demands for the immediate release of the Bursary & Thesis Grant.
We entreat other sister students union (PUSAG,TTAG,RSRC,NAHSAG,NUGS,GUPS etc) that they should join us in this worthy cause since one day they might be members of GRASAG
Finally, to raise awareness across all social media platforms, members and sympathizers are entreated to post their displeasure and any related comments with the hash tag #GRASAGBursaryNow and #GRASAGPicketsFlagstaffHouse
