A front runner in the ongoing Graduate Students’ Association election at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has called for decent campaigning based on issues.
Ebenezer Henaku Jnr., who has a background in credit and finance in an interview with rawgist.com expressed displeasure with the various smear campaigns that characterize campus politicking.
He expressed confidence in the maturity of GRASAG members to decipher which candidates are real and capable of doing good by the people.
Ebenezer Henaku Jnr. tells rawgist.com his presidency will focus on three thematic areas; projection of students’ voice, ensuring students’ welfare and providing support to members of GRASAG to ensure everyone has a peace of mind to study and graduate successfully.
“A lot of student leaders have always had good intentions, but good intentions alone is inadequate.
We need action. I will ensure fresh GRASAG members obtain accommodation before setting foot on
campus. I will also expand the existing boa wo nua fund to make it more relevant to the needs of the
financially troubled among us whiles at the same time helping enhance the quality of research
through various decentralized training workshops and seminars”, Ebenezer revealed to rawgist.com.
