The Graduate Campus of the University of Ghana came alive last Saturday as members of the Graduate Students’ Association of Ghana, Legon (GRASAG-LEGON) came together to socialize, fraternize and have some good fun to relieve themselves of the stress which comes with their strenuous academic research works.
The night’s event which commenced just some few minutes after 8pm was filled with mind blowing and exciting activities till the wee hours of the next day.
Performances from some emerging acts of the Ghanaian showbiz industry both hiplife and dancehall was another aspect of the event which cannot be overlooked as Dzidu, Wash Pee and Xhila Roy (The Real McCoy of Dancehall) made members yearn for more of the fun.
The Organizing Secretary, Benjamin Taylor under whose tutelage the maiden ‘Telemor Socialization’ was put together commended his colleague Executives led by Justice Surugu (President) for the overwhelming support and guidance, he further acknowledged the unflinching backing of his Committee members and the impressive turnout of the members for making the event a remarkable and a sold-out one since over 800 graduate students pursuing various Post-graduate degrees like (PHD, MPHIL, MBA, MA, MSC, MPA, MPH, LLM etc.) turned up.
Other activities of the night included Lucky Dips, fastest fingers, give-aways, dancing competition and members were served variety of dishes both local and continental and good drinks to complement.
