Hold On To Your Faith In Christ—–Pastor Josh Obeng Urges Christians.
The Resident Minister at Calvary Charismatic Center (CCC), Pastor Josh Obeng has encouraged Christians in the country to hold on the faith they profess in Christ Jesus since that would serve them well in life.
Speaking at the church’s main branch at Ayigya on the topic “Don’t Go Back”, Pastor Josh noted that nothing satisfies the soul than having a relationship with Christ Jesus.
He said that apart from the absolute protection Christ Jesus provides to those who believe in him, he also has the power to deliver them from every evil trick including temptations.
“We are to hold fast to the faith and trust we profess in Christ Jesus since going back to the old lifestyles we once lived as unbelievers is not an option for any of us”, the Preacher stated.
Fleeting and Ungodly:
The CCC Resident Minister said the devil on a daily basis present to many in the world some attractions.
Most of these things, he noted are packaged nicely to attract people especially believers and unbelievers to commit sin to gain same.
The CCC leader said many who were not awake to the deception the devil, suddenly found themselves doing things that are very sinful with some dying out of same.
“There is nothing rewarding or glorious about evil and so those who are attracted to especially material things do all manner of things to get same and have regretted afterwards.”, Pastor Josh noted.
Commitment:
The CCC preacher asked Christians to be committed to God and the things Christ Jesus teaches.
This, he noted would not only stand them well but will help them to serve Christ faithfully to attract the blessings to obedience.
Quoting from Hebrew Chapter 1 vrs 3, the CCC preacher said Christ Jesus had completed the task of salvation for believers and was seated at the right side of God interceding to ensure they finish well in life.
“Christ has completed his work on earth for us and is now seated at the right of hand of God making intercessions for us, so let’s hold on firmly to Him and finish really well”, the Gospel Minister stated.
