I AM FULLY BAKED FOR 2ND VICE CHAIRMAN—-OSCAR RICHES ASSERTS.
The Ashanti regional branch of the New Patriotic Party would be making one of its best decisions ever in the history of their choice for a Second Vice Chairman for the region if they vote for competence, Mr. Oscar Riches has noted.
Mr. Oscar Riches, an ardent member of the party in the region has put himself up to be voted for as the Region’s Second Vice Chairman with a vow to give his all in ensuring a successful “Breaking the 8” agenda.
Popularly known as ‘Ghana Beyeyie’, Mr. Riches joins the race with a commendable appreciation of what operations mean especially in winning an election, as according to him, that position is mainly for operations.
In an interview with this reporter, he said “everybody knows that Ghana Beyeyie is not an office person, if there is work to be done, why should I stay in the office.”
DETAILS:
“I specifically chose to contest this position because I know that my expertise and competencies would be much felt there; Coordinating the various Organising positions in the region and ensuring that everything goes smooth and well as planned.”
“I believe strongly that breaking the eight must not just be a mantra to be repeated every now and then but a mission to be accomplished with the right collection of leadership. With me in the regional executive, we are sure to break the eight and put things aright,” Ghana Beyeyie told this reporter.
Ghana Beyeyie has won a lot of admiration in the region for deciding that he will not contest the regional organizer position and allow Dr. Francis Adomako to continue his good works. He contested Dr. Francis Adomako for the Regional Organiser portfolio and lost with less than 50 votes but has decided not to contest him again.
SUPPORT:
Many have therefore, due to this singular decision, decided to support him win the Second Vice chairman slot of the region.
He said his long service in the party, from a serial caller, to Campaign Operations Manager in both the 2012 and 2016 General Elections, and being a two time Assembly Member in the Asokwa Municipality has given him a wealth of experience to run the Second Vice Chairman position for a successful 2024 General Elections.
“It is not for nothing that I was made the Campaign Operations Manager in the 2012 General Elections and was called upon to take up the position again in the 2016 General elections. This experience in operations is what I am bringing to the office to help our dear party break the eight come 2024,” he pointed.
