“I Do Not Fear Delegates, I Respect Their Judgement”—-Hon Freda Prempeh.

Hon Freda Prempeh, incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Tano North who lost her bid in seeking for a fourth term as parliamentary candidate of the NPP says she is not bitter that delegates did not renew her mandate during last week’s internal primary.

Rather, she says she respects the decision and judgement of party delegates because there are reasons for the choice they made.

Speaking to the media at Mim, a popular community in the Asunafo North of the Ahafo Region on Wednesday, Hon Prempeh noted that she had resolved to move on and bear no grudge against anyone or executives of the Tano NPP.

“I still stand by my mantra that I do not fear NPP delegates because I trust that they make judgments and decisions based on good reasoning and therefore I welcome the decision they made last Saturday”, Hon Freda Prempeh stated.

Institutional Projects:
Hon Freda Prempeh who doubles as the Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources 💧 said she was fully  concentrated on completing projects she has started in the Tano North Community.

She stated that her mandates expires by the end of the year, 2024.

This, she intimated, presents her the opportunity to continue to do and carry out initiatives that would bring development and job creation opportunities for the people in the Tano North Community.

“I am happy doing what I do best and that is to ensure the people in my community have basic amenities as well as developmental initiatives to make their lives less burdensome and comfortable”, Hon Prempeh posited.

Background:
Hon Freda Prempeh, a third term Member of Parliament has represented the people in the Tano North area for almost twelve (12) years now.

She first won the NPP party’s internal primary in 2011 and subsequently won the parliamentary elections in the area in 2012.

In 2015, she won a second term mandate in the party’s primary and went on to win 🏆 a second term mandate of the people in Tano North in Parliament, winning the 2016 parliamentary election.

Currently, Hon Freda Prempeh is serving a third term mandate of the people having won a third term bid internal primary in 2019 and would end her term in December 2024 having won the 2020 parliamentary election.
