Francis Adomako, an Ashanti Regional Organizer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has promised to administer his office with profuse sincerity when he is given the nod to lead the party in the upcoming internal contest slated for next month.
Speaking to delegates from Afigya Kwabre, Offinso North and South, Agona, Afigya Kwabre North and South as well as Atwima Kwanwoma, the hopeful noted his desire to allow the tenets of transparency and accountability to reign in his tenure.
According to him, party faithful always want to work with people who are sincere and can be trusted with party’s funds and resources.
This, he mentioned is the reason he is offering himself up to be that kind of person the delegates would want to work with and lead them ahead of the 2020 general elections.
‘’I know what delegates want because having worked as two-times constituency organizer at Asokwa I realized delegates understand those who are sincere and are willing to even die for them’’, Mr Adomako disclosed.
CRITICISMS:
Mr Adomako promised the delegates to welcome criticisms anyhow and anyway it is offered to him.
This, he stressed is one way that will make him work better and chart a good path in the office he is seeking to occupy.
Those who reject criticisms in life, the university lecturer noted have always ended up in misery or shipwreck.
As a measure to gauge the criticisms that will come up, Mr Adomako mentioned the setting up of an office where it will take feed-back from the people as well as party organizers across the region.
‘’I am determined to listen to the very people who will endorse my candidature and will act on criticisms that will come up so that we can as a party chart a good path and consolidate our front in the region’’, the calm lecturer posited.
COMMENDATION:
Mr Adomako commended the delegates across the region for receiving him well everywhere he has visited.
He noted the promptness they have attended to his meeting and praised the members for that kind of spirit.
This spirit, he noted should guide the party all throughout so as to ensure that with a united front the NPP makes more inroads to areas they are not strong at.
’Francois’, as the lecturer is fondly referred to by party faithful and colleagues promised to reciprocate the warm reception they have accorded him and wished that they accord his other contestants same to ensure a healthy contest.
‘’I am grateful for the warm reception you as party delegates and members have accorded me and I wish that you do same for other contestants so as together we can help run a smooth election when the time is due’’, the affable lecturer pleaded.
