Mr Francis Adomako, a 45 year old lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science Technology (KNUST) is promising to resource all constituency organizers in the Ashanti Region when he is elected as the regional organizer of the New Patriotic Party(NPP).
According to him, only a well resourced group or individuals work to generate results and therefore his determination to ensure the right tools and incentives are allocated to constituency organizers for grass-root work.
Speaking to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper in Kumasi this Tuesday, Sir Francois, as the aspirant is popularly referred to by party people indicated plans to upgrade the educational levels of the 47 constituency organizers in the region.
The lecturer also promised to ensure the organizers are given some form of work to do so as to keep them active and resourceful.
INITIATIVES:
Throwing more light on initiatives he would deploy to resource the constituency organizers , Mr Adomako disclosed plans to conduct job creation seminars for the group every year.
These workshops, he stressed would help to empower the constituency organizers to do something for themselves and also help them to create other opportunities for family, friends and members of the party after acquiring the needed knowledge and skill.
Mr Adomako, who is the current Asokwa NPP constituency organizer indicated his desire to institute an annual health walk across the communities in the region.
This walk, he envisaged would help to keep members of the NPP fit at all times for the difficult task in grass-root work and organization.
CONFIDENCE:
Expressing confidence about his chances of winning the upcoming regional organizer elections, Mr Adomako said the experiences he had gained by working as the party’s election strategist from 2012-2016 would stand him in good stead to win the polls.
According to him, the NPP members having benefitted from his facilitation efforts in ensuring school children get access to their preferred schools to pursue Senior High School and University Education would in turn vote to endorse him to enable him continue his good works.
Mr Adomako, who has for about 10 years conducted free vacation classes for school children within the Asokwa constituency pledged to extend same commitment to helping to revitalize the regional organizer position.
Having worked with Madam Patricia Appaigyei, the current Member of Parliament for Asokwa for the past eight (8) years and many others previously in the constituency, the lecturer believed he had garnered enough experiences in the NPP party to ascend to the regional organizer seat.
