I’m a Political Animal …. Agbesi Nutsu

Camp Commandant for Ghana at the Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup Agbesi Nutsu has said that he is a political animal and has been in Agbesi Nutsupolitics since the revolutionary days.

Speaking at the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into the Brazil 2014 World Cup Mr. Agbesi Nutsu said those who joined the camp in the name of protocol really gave him a hell of time in the camp.

“Everything was fine at the camp but my lord those who came in the name of protocol with all manner of names gave me a hell of time,” he noted.
“You give them this they don’t like, you do this they don’t like and my lord I’m a political animal myself way back from the revolutionary days so it got to a point I had to leave them to attend to the supporters because my lord I realized that we had supporters and also holiday makers”
“So my lord a special arrangement was made for them later which I wouldn’t want to know because unlike in South Africa where the Camp Commandant had some money on him to take care of some petty issues, in Brazil there was no money at all,” he said.
However, Mr. Agbesi discounted ever picking a bone with the supporters in Brazil. “My lord it was at Natal that I learnt some of the supporters were angry with me but when I returned I explained things to them and they understood so I wouldn’t call that altercation.”
“Did you say there was no altercation whatsoever between you and the supporters?,” Moses Foh-Amoaning asked.
“No! my lord,” Mr. Agbesi answered.
“So how come they left refuse in your room,” Mr. Foh-Amoaning retorted.
“They did that in my absence but my lord like I said earlier once I explained things to them they understood so they asked me to go in, take my shower and take some rest but by the time I came back from the bathroom the refuse had been cleared so there was no confrontation between us,” he added.
