The Offuman Traditional Council in the Bono East Region has reminded the President John Dramani Mahama and their Member of Parliament Hon. Lawyer Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare to fulfil their promise of appointing a Municipal Chief Executive from their town if the NDC wins the 2024 general elections.
Addressing a Press Conference at the Paramount Chief’s Palace; Nana Ankomah Ameyaw Twotwuroku Ampem the Mawerɛhene of Offuman Traditional Council recounted that during the electioneering campaign, then Candidate Mahama accompanied by their MP Lawyer Ofosu-Adjare visited the Offuman Palace to promise them appointment of an MCE should they help the NDC to come to power as no individual from the town has ever gotten a political appointment.
