Ghana striker Jordan Ayew has explained he opted to sign for FrenchLigue 1 outfit FC Lorient because their philosophy suites his playing style.
The club confirmed on Monday announced that the third son of Ghana legendAbedi Pele has signed a four-year contract.
The 22-year-old has chased by some clubs in the major European leagues German pair Schalke 04 and Borussia Monchengladbach, West Bromwich Albion and Hull City.
But the former Olympique Marseille man decided to move to the Stade Yves Allainmat -Le Moustoir.
“The style and quality of play offered here suit me perfectly. I am also very impressed by the infrastructure of the FCL,” Jordan told the club’s official website.
“They will allow me to work well daily and thus progress. I’ll try to bring my experience to this group in order to achieve the collective goals of the club.”
Jordan spent the second half of last season on loan at Sochaux where he netted five goals in 17 Ligue 1 appearances.
