JUSTIN FRIMPONG KODUA PAYS RESPECTS TO OTUMFUO AT LAST ADAE.
Chief Executive Officer for the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua on Sunday paid homage to his spiritual father and inspiration, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace.
Joined by his team from the State Agency as well as some well wishers in Kumasi, JFK as the calm CEO is fondly referred by NPP faithfuls arrived in the Manhyia Palace in grand style to participate in the last Akwasidae of the year.
Adorned in a remarkably spectacular light green Kente, Lawyer Kodua proceeded to greet Otumfuo Osei Tutu II who had sat in State.
With deafening shouts of “Okumkom” reverberating from the grounds when he got close to Otumfuo, the YEA CEO smiled as he was beckoned by the Asantehene who in a similar infectious smile nodded in admiration.
REACTIONS:
Returning to his seat, JFK with some broad giggle responded to cheers from the crowd at the durbar grounds.
Raising the hand and at some point gesturing with both hands, the YEA boss showed appreciation to the crowd that found his name easy to call out.
With some youthful elements pushing through the heavy security to catch the eye of the YEA boss and aspiring General Secretary of the NPP, Lawyer Kodua lifted the thumb up in recognition of the love displayed towards him.
In complete awe at a point the YEA boss was seen folding his kente around the waist and beating one of the traditional drums at the Manhyia Palace signifying his readiness to serve Asantehene and Asanteman with humility and unbridled passion.
APPRECIATION:
Speaking to this reporter, JFK noted his delight to be of service to the Asantehene.
He noted that many had struggled and are still doing so just to attract the attention of the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
For him, he noted it is with great pleasure to have opportunity to pay homage to the Asantehene at such occasions.
“I am delighted and extremely grateful to the wisest King who I serve to always find in me a useful vessel to counsel and to impart his knowledge to at such occasions especially today’s which is the last Akwasidae for the year 2021”, the YEA CEO calmly noted.
