Head porters in the Ashanti region Wednesday showed up at the NPP’s demonstration against the Electoral Commission with head pans.
They were brought to the demonstration grounds by one Adiza also called “Zongo Pioneer”, who spoke at the demonstration.
The head porters were told during the demonstration that their plight will change if Nana Akufo Addo becomes President of Ghana. They were repeatedly told that the EC and sitting President Mahama were in bed to rig the forthcoming Presidential and legislative elections slated for November 7.
NPP Ashanti Chairman; Chairman Wontumi also told the crowd that Nana Addo will buy refuse of all kinds in order to keep Ghana clean. “Refuse will become so important that people will steal your refuse from your house to sell if you don’t sell yours fast”, he told the excited crowd. He also revealed Nana Addo will bring back free education when he becomes President of Ghana among several other promises.
