A Former United Nations Secretary-General, Mr Kofi Annan, yesterday called on President John Dramani Mahama at the Flagstaff House.
Details of the meeting, held behind closed doors, were not disclosed.
It was, however, believed to have centred on issues of national development.
Mr Annan’s call on President Mahama was the second since the President’s investiture in January 2013.
The first was in April 2013, which was also held behind closed doors.
Before that meeting, the former UN Chief had, in August 2012, paid a similar visit to President Mahama at the Castle, Osu, to assure him of his personal support.
That was when President Mahama had just been sworn into office as President, following the death of President John Atta Mills.
