KT Hammond is enjoying his last days in parliament-Yammin exposes NPP diabolics

yamminFormer Ashanti regional NDC Secretary; Joseph Yammin says the MP for Adansi Asokwa is enjoying his final days in parliament after which he will have to give way to the NDC’s candidate Lawyer Evans Amankwah.

He made the statement in an interview on Accra based Okay FM during which he accused Hon. K.T. Hammond of attempting to register over 200 minors during the just ended limited voters’ registration exercise conducted by the electoral commission.

Joseph Yammin explained that on their rounds during the exercise at Bodwesango , they found out that Hon. KT Hammond brought in many students who happened to be minors. “We challenged every single registration and investigated the school credentials of the young people KT Hammond brought to registers. At the end of the exercise, only one person qualified out of over 200”.

“This unfortunate act was orchestrated by a political party that is crying wolf over a bloated register”, Yammin emphasized.

He went on to expose how the Nzemahene of Agona near Mampong, bused under-aged people to register and then bribed the NDC Constituency Secretary with an amount of GHC500.00 to keep him mute when the Constituency Executives decided to cross check the backgrounds of the minors and challenge their registration. “Nana Nkansah Boadu, whose son is contesting as candidate for Agona paid 500 cedis to Alhassan-the NDC secretary and I have voices to prove”, Yammin stated.

He stated that the NDC is matching the NPP boot for boot and will not give the NPP room to perpetrate their diabolics.

“We don’t need to plan how to steal votes. The NPP doesn’t even deserve for us to steal votes from them in the Ashanti region. President Mahama’s projects alone are enough to win him at least one million votes there. All we have to do is ensure the right things are done”, he explained.
