hana coach Kwesi Appiah has praised his players for their unyielding bravery in the 3-2 win over Togo in Lome on Wednesday.
The Black Stars came from a goal down to win the match with a late strike and breathed life into their 2015 Africa Cup of Nations campaign.
Ghana have now recovered from the pedestrian they put up at home last Saturday against Uganda in the 1-1 draw.
Appiah acknowledged his players were determined to punch above their weights and pursue victory to its bitter end.
“We knew we were going to face a difficult team because Togo have a very strong team,” Appiah said in a post-match interview.
“But the boys played very well and we wanted the win.”
Ghana’s next match will be against Guinea.
