The Headmaster of the Agric-Nzema community Day School; Mr Daniel Boamah Duku says the inability to provide a fence for the school is hampering academic work.
The headmaster who was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the Board of Directors of the school complained that students escaped from the school’s premises at will even during classes.
Mr Boamah also cited the lack of adequate furniture and a school bus as some of his school’s biting challenges and called on the government, organizations and well-placed individuals to support the school.
Municipal Chief Executive for the area; Hon. Agyenim Boateng emphasized the importance of education to the government and promised to support the school with furniture immediately. “For the other issues, the Assembly has to deliberate on it and come up with solutions” he insisted.
The Headmaster in an interview after the event revealed that the Deputy Minister of Education has assured them of a bus and pick-up trucks; news that excited the school community.
