The government has issued an urgent advisory for all Ghanaian nationals residing in Lebanon to leave the country immediately due to the rapidly deteriorating security situation.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration expressed deep concern over the unfolding crisis and its potential threat to the safety of Ghanaians.
In a press release on Friday, October 4, the Ministry highlighted the limited availability of flights out of Lebanon and urged Ghanaians to take advantage of these opportunities to evacuate.
For those without travel documents, the government has made provisions for Emergency Travel Certificates, which can be obtained from the Ghanaian Embassy in Cairo, Egypt, or the Honorary Consulate in Beirut, Lebanon.
The government has emphasised the importance of acting promptly to avoid any emergencies and has assured all necessary support to facilitate the safe return of its citizens.
