Let’s create more jobs to make Ghanaians happy-Asamoah Boateng

Director General for State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA), Hon Stephen Asamoah Boateng has asked government to create more jobs to bring happiness to the people of Ghana.

Speaking to this reporter Tuesday morning, Hon Boateng said happiness comes from activity.

He noted that the more the people,  especially the youth get jobs to do the more happier they would become.

“We must find more ways to create happiness and it is only by getting people jobs to do that would enable them to spend money and enjoy the lives they lead”, the SIGA boss stated.

The Director General who has expressed interest in contesting for the National Chairmanship position of the New Patriotic Party said advanced countries such as Britain and the United States of America have found this truth hence the happiness in their nations.

The youth and the aged in these advanced countries are supported with incentives and cash benefits to make their lives bearable, Hon Boateng stressed.

According to the veteran politician, Minister and two time MP, the more happier the people of a country are the higher the productivity at work.

“I am happy that in the recent budget government has shown commitment to make things easy for people especially the youth by introducing more flexible interventions and entrepreneurial support”, the SIGA boss stated.

Hon Boateng promised to continue to lead initiatives that would give better opportunities for the youth of Ghana just as he has done at SIGA.

He noted that his entry into the chairmanship race of the NPP was to build a solid communication channel between party and its grassroot using energy and dynamism.

“My entry into the upcoming chairmanship contest in the NPP is to use the experiences I have garnered both outside the country and in Ghana as well as Minister, MP and as SIGA CEO to improve the lot of the party people and enhance the synergy between government and the party”, Asabee posited.
