Malam Shamunaus Staz Jibril has tipped Nana Akufo-Addo to win landslide victory in the forthcoming internal elections of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The Islamic cleric, who hails from Bawku, is credited with an assortment of predictions coming true both on the local and international scenes, feat which he attributes to spiritual calculations.
Regarding the regional distribution of the votes, he said “in the Ashanti Region, Nana Akufo-Addo polled 87% and Alan Kyeremanteng 8% with the other candidates sharing 5%.”
In Accra, Nana will garner 82% of the total votes with Alan getting 11% and the rest sharing 7%, he said. In the Western Region, the predictions, according to him, are Nana Akufo-Addo, 91%, Alan 2%, the other candidates sharing 7%.
The results from the Eastern Region are Nana 96% and Alan 1%, as Brong Ahafo Region will post the following Nana 82%, Alan 8% with the remaining being shared by the others.
In the Northern Region, Nana will get 79%, Alan 12% and in the Volta Region Nana 68% and Alan 31%. Nana will lead in the Upper East Region with 57%, and Alan 33%, while in the Upper West, Nana will garner 58%, Alan 30% and 12% for the rest.
The spiritual calculations, he said, therefore put Nana ahead of the others with 86%, adding, “I congratulate Nana Akufo- Addo for the forthcoming victory as the flagbearer of the NPP. The rest of the calculations rest in the hands of Allah.”
He said the Ashanti Region, Bekwai, Boukrom and some parts of Obuasi will experience rainfall on the day of the elections. Some parts of the Western Regions such as Takoradi will also experience slight downpours. Axim and Sekondi will not be exceptions.
Madina, Accra, as well as Aburi and Koforidua, will all experience slight downpour, he said, adding that Sunyani, Berekum and some parts of Bawku will also register downpour.
The elections, he predicted, will experience some machine breakdown and this will delay the process. Areas that will. experience such anomalies include Wa Central, Northern Volta, Tamale Central and some parts of Navrongo in the Upper East Region.
Tongo, Walewale, especially overseas, will also have some challenges. There will also be slight misunderstanding in Tamale North, Builsa North, Ho, Ash Town, Kumasi not forgetting Yendi and Ashaiman and Odododiodoo. But in all there will be no harm or death, he indicated.
“I wish to advise the leadership of the NPP to enhance their spirituality towards the 2016 polls,” he said. Turning his attention to the NDC, he said three persons will challenge President John Mahama for the flagbearer position.
“Ms. Anita de Soso will have it tough maintaining her position as National Women’s Organiser of her party,” he said.
