The Member of Parliament for Asokwa, Madam Patricia Appiagyei Monday morning donated hospital supplies such as bedsheets, pillows and other items to the Lady Julia Health Center at Kuwait-Oti-Aprabo electoral area.
The donation formed part of plans by the MP to periodically resource medical facilities within the Asokwa Municipality.
At a short presentation ceremony at the premises of the health Center, Mama Pat accompanied by the MCE for Asokwa, Chief Akwannuasa Gyimah and some party executives commended the staff and workers at the hospital for keeping the place tidy and functional.
She urged them to do their best for visitors as well as patients who attend care at the facility since its location is strategic.
TOUR:
The Member of Parliament (MP) also toured some areas where road construction is ongoing.
Some of the areas visited were Afanko, S-Line New site, Milano link road at Gyinyase and Asokwa Extension.
Madam Appiagyei commended the contractors on the roads for doing a good job.
She urged them to work with the timelines given so that residents could return to their normal lives since delays would bring more inconvenience to many.
CAMPAIGN:
Visiting homes in the communities as well as streets where she interacted with taxi drivers and road users, Madam Appiagyei together with Asokwa NPP executives encouraged residents to continue to have faith in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
She noted that Asokwa had gotten a municipal status because the President knows it will fast track its development.
The creation of the Asokwa Municipal Assembly, she stressed had ensured more developments are carried out in the communities under it.
She therefore urged residents to pray for the President and her humble self so that they may have the grace of God and strength to carry out more development projects for the people of Ghana and Asokwa especially.
“A vote for Nana Addo and Mama Pat would mean more development for the people of Ghana and Asokwa especially”, Mama Pat passionately stressed.
