Alhaji Baba Siaka receiving the citation from the Principal of the Kumasi Technical University
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Odotobri Rural Bank; Alhaji Baba Siaka, received a gold Award for his excellent role in the economic growth in the Ashanti region.
Mr. Siaka received the Award at the 5th Ashanti Business leaders Excellence Awards ceremony organized by Top Brass Ghana in commemoration of the 20th Anniversary of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
Nana Baffuor Agyei Kesse, Adumhene, who represented Otumfuo at the occasion, commended the CEO for his innovative ideas that have resulted in the success of the bank and urged him to count himself among the best in the business community not only in Ashanti but nationally. He said it is absolutely essential and proper that his good works receive the needed recognition.
He took the opportunity to urge business leaders to be courageous in the face of odds, and should not allow any obstacles to deter them from their goals and should fight to overcome all setbacks in their business dealings.
He stressed that, it is imperative to try again and again until their business objectives are accomplished knowing that all successful businessmen grapple with occasional defeat and adversity on their journey to success.
Alhaji Baba Siaka, after receiving the Citation, expressed his profound gratitude to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene for recognizing his efforts and contribution towards the economic growth of the region in the financial sector.
He stated that, the recognition will motivate him to put more effort in line of duty to serve as an example for others to emulate especially those in the financial sector and also the up and coming youth.
