The Bishop of the Methodist church Kumasi diocese Right Revered Christopher Nyarko Andam has appealed to Ghanaians to maintain peace and stability in the country.
The Bishop was speaking to rawgist.com’s Joana Somiah at their 38th Synod conference which was held at the church premises at Tafo.
He also emphasized the need for vigilantism to be banned in all its forms in the country and stated the church’s support for the President’s efforts at stopping it. He called on all Ghanaians to support the President’s quest for continued stability in the country.
“Without peace, we cannot do anything” he said and added that Ghana is a nation blessed with peace which he stresses is our responsibility to maintain.
The conference is held annually to assess how well or otherwise the church and her leadership has been performing as far as our mandate is concerned.
