Arsenal and Chelsea legends Robert Pires and Michael Essien will be dusting off their boots to grace the Wembley turf once more later this month.
Pires and Essien, alongside fellow greats David Trezeguet and Cafu, will feature in this year’s EE Wembley Cup, taking place at the national stadium on November 25, with money from ticket sales going to Sport Relief.
The footballing legends will line up alongside four YouTube stars in the annual tournament, which has been running since 2015.
Pires, who scored in the final two years ago, said: “It will be brilliant to play at Wembley Stadium again and it’s guaranteed to be another dramatic match at The EE Wembley Cup 2018 final.”
The tournament will feature an American football style draft stage as well as 30-minute matches, man downtime and sin bins.
