The quest to find the missing baby of Suweiba Abdul Moomen, has received a major boost with the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts adding her voice to calls to find the baby.
The nation was in February, this year, gripped by news of the disappearance of the baby of the 42 year old mother who had gone to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital to deliver.
Three months on nobody seem to know what exactly happened to the baby and its whereabouts.
Even though some punitive administrative actions have been instituted against certain key persons in the saga, it has not helped much in bringing closure to the issue.
With the campaign to find the baby dying down, Mrs. Abla Dzifa Gomashie believes the matter must be resuscitated to get to its logical conclusion.
The minister who admitted to having miscarried before expressed the need for Suweiba to have closure on the issue.
She encouraged Suweiba to remain strong and advocated prayers for her, adding that money may not be her motive but closure.
She admitted that perhaps Ghanaian women have failed Suweiba by not marching in solidarity as in the case of the abducted Nigerian girls.
