Political Scientist and Lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University OF Science and Technology, Dr. Samuel Adu Gyamfi has observed that the Moment Of Glory Prayer Army (MOGPA), the renowned prayer ministry here in Ghana and abroad founded by Rev.Isaac Osei Bonsu is contributing significantly to the development of Abrankese where the ministry holds its prayer meetings as well as the country at large.
Speaking on Royal fm’s morning show, Dr.Samuel Adu Gyamfi noted religion contributes massively to economic development.
He was unhappy with the manner in which people criticized prayer ministries including MOGPA.
‘‘In the United States Bishop T.D Jakes has church conferences such as Mega fest, manpower amongst others. Any country or city that hosts his conference gets millions of dollars from various facilities such as hotels and also promotes trade. Therefore Religion contributes massively to economic development and the Christian Americans bear witness to that’’, he stressed.
