Details:
Meanwhile, the selected artists are to perform at high levels, having been carefully chosen by MTN in collaboration with the ARCC.
With records of their earlier highly energetic movements and dance styles as well as their individual exciting artworks, these hiplife and highlife groups are expected to bring joy to patrons of the music concert.
At the time of filing this report, the Rattray Park, the venue to host the musical concert, was being arranged to give revellers and potential patrons the atmosphere to enjoy themselves.
Seats were being arranged at their respective stands, with other musical gadgets being fixed at the site.
Background:
The Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (ARCC) decided to celebrate Asante culture in April after the new regional Minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene, assumed office.
Subsequently, the ARCC, led by the Regional Minister, designed a month-long programme to celebrate the culture, heritage sites, foods, dances, and sporting events of the people of Ashanti.
With nearly two weeks more to end the month of April, which incidentally is the month used to celebrate Easter, the ARCC has put up programs such as the upcoming musical concert and visits to recreational centres across the region.
Most youths in Ashanti have been fascinated by the activities, including the football gala, boxing, and other previous events, and have since shown interest by participating in them.
