Customers of MTN in the Ashanti region are excited after some of them won Flat screen Samsung television sets of varying sizes and two Hyundai i10 cars in the ongoing MTN MoMo@10 promo held at the company’s Kejetia Office on Friday 23rd August, 2019.
The mouth-watering awards constituted prizes for July alone. Prizes for June have been given out already.
One of the winners of the salon cars; Hajia Fati Muhammed said she did not believe it when she received the call that she had won a car. She dismissed it as a scam. She was however overjoyed when the keys to her brand new Hyundai i10 was handed to her in a short but exciting ceremony. She encouraged other customers of MTN to use the Mobile Money Platform to enhance their chances of winning similar prizes.
Senior Manager, General Trade for the Northern Sector; Mr. Simon Amo explained that the awards are being presented at the doorsteps of the traders to clear all doubts about how prizes are won in such promos and also establish MTN’s relevance to the ecosystems of the various categories of customers.
He believes the MTN MoMo platform is driving the financial inclusion agenda of the country and is the most credible and secure platform that puts control totally in the hands of the customer.
He advised MTN Customers to strive to accumulate more points by doing more Mobile Money Transactions and also advised customers to safeguard their MoMo PINS to avoid being defrauded.
MTN Mobile Money is celebrating its tenth anniversary. As part of the celebration, the telco is running a promotion to reward MoMo customers.
The MoMoAt10 Consumer Promo is a transaction driven and points-based system designed to reward MTN MOMO customers who use their MoMo wallets to perform their financial transactions. Customers will earn the most points when they make payments to MTN MoMo merchants for their goods and services via MoMoPay. For clarity purposes, MTN MoMo Merchants are those vendors, shops, businesses and the likes who accept payment for goods and services on an MTN MoMo Merchant wallet.
The promo will run for three (3) months, from 6th June – 31st August, 2019 and at the end of each month, a thousand (1,000) customers will be rewarded with prizes including Hyundai i10 salon car, up to 60 inches Samsung tv sets, e-cash of up to GH¢3,000 and many more.
