The Chief of Bamire, a suburb of the Techiman Traditional Area, Nana Asare Baffour II has set an Educational fund to help brilliant but needy students in the area.
He said the legacy a society can bequeath to its citizenry is quality education therefore the Bamire community is going all out to make sure students who fall in the said category are given the chance.
He promised his people that education and development are his prime motive in lifting the standard of the area.
He made this revelation at a durbar held by the chiefs and people of Bamire to Climax this year’s Yam festival in the area.
Nana Asare Bafour II who doubles as the Tutuhene of the Techiman Traditional Area advised the youth to make sure education becomes the top most priority.
