Dismissed deputy communications minister, Victoria Hamah, has said the strength of her mind and the acceptance of the reality has kept her going despite her troubled political career.
President John Dramani Mahama fired the young politician November 2013 after a tape was leaked on which a voice purported to be that of the former Ablekuma West NDC parliamentary candidate was heard telling a female interlocutor that she did not intend ruining her chances in government with petty squabbles with her boss, when she had not even bagged a million dollars yet.
The two ladies, who appeared to be traveling while having the gossipy conversation, were also heard on the leaked secret audio tape unkindly condemning the then Deputy Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Rachel Appoh, for instigating bad press against her boss, Nana Oye Lithur.
In a Facebook post, Hamah said “A lot of times people do tell me “You are very Strong” considering what I have been through in recent past, but I tell them “Strength and Weakness is the state of one’s Mind and one’s understanding of the transient reality of our mortal nature.
“It’s the acceptance of one’s material condition what others call Destiny or Fate that makes all the difference.
“A good life is not one devoid of problems because both good and bad experiences gives us knowledge and through knowledge we discover the truth!”.
