All churches in Sefwi Akaaso near Bibiani have been asked to fast and pray against mysterious deaths in the area.
At least eight people have recently died under mysterious circumstances in the area.
Odikro of the town; Nana Kwesi Twum therefore summoned all churches in the town to a meeting where he entreated them to come together in fasting and prayer to save the situation.
Speaking to the Pastors and church leaders at a non-denominational church service, Nana Kwesi Twum vowed never to consult any god but the God Almighty for a solution to the terrifying occurrence.
A leading Pastor in the area; Rev. Benjamin Kingsley Dzohenu praised the Odikro for his stance and re-echoed the call for all Christians to fast and pray for the community.
He also sent a warning to persons who are engaging in demonic activities in the area to repent or be exposed by the wrath of God soon.
