One of the well patronised political talk programmes in Kumasi “Dwabirem” on Otec FM 102.9 hosted by Kwabena Prah Jr., was nearly marred by the founder and leader of Ghana Freedom Party (GFP).
Madam Akua Donkor on October 21 deviated when commenting on NPP chances of winning election with Akuffo-Addo as flagbearer.
The GFP rained insults on the NPP flagbearer for 2016 elections describing him as “wicked and heartless …Ghanaians should not give him opportunity to lead this country”.
Madam Donkor was invited onto the programme via telephone for comment on the just ended NPP super delegates congress electing Nana Akuffo-Addo flagbearer for 2016.
She accussed the flagbearer of stealing her idea to implement free education in the round up to the 2012 elections.
She claimed “President John Mahama sought my consent and I allowed him to use my free education policy”.
The founder said she is impressed by “the numerous infrastructure being put up by the government across the country …I will continue to praise President John Mahama as I did to Kuffour for introducing health insurance”.
