The Ashanti Regional Women’s Organiser, Nana Ama Ampomah has assured Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) from Ashanti that the President of the Republic was committed to doing more projects in the Ashanti Region.
Speaking to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper after participating in the distribution of the 47 ambulances meant for the 47 constituencies in the Ashanti Region, Madam Ampomah asked the MMDCEs to expect more infrastructure projects in their communities from this time on wards.
According to the NPP women’s leader, the President had shown from the time he took over power that he was committed to the welfare of the people of Ghana.
Madam Ampomah stressed that all the policies such as the one district one warehouse, one constituency one million dollars, one village one dam and others were initiatives meant to open up the country for businesses to thrive.
‘’I want to assure all MMDCEs in Ashanti that the President is really committed to making our cities as well as communities vibrant and economically viable’’, the Women’s organiser posited.
RESOURCES:
The women’s organizer said the President was determined to provide to all Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) the resources to carry out projects aimed at developing their localities.
She noted that the idea was to develop all communities so that the local people could find job openings in their places of residence.
The provision of ambulances and the construction of warehouses in all the 47 constituencies, Madam Ampomah stated was part of plans to develop individual communities in Ashanti.
Pretty giant, as the Women’s organiser is called encouraged the people of Ashanti to grant the President four more years to complete the projects he had started.
‘’My prayer is that you rally behind the President as he rolls out more of the transformation plans he has for this country’’, Madam Ampomah stressed.
CAMPAIGN:
Madam Ampomah asked MMDCEs to seize every opportunity to campaign for four (4) more years for the President.
She noted that the only way the votes of the President would shoot up in the upcoming general election was for them to lead the campaign in their localities.
Madam Ampomah rallied the MMDCEs to reach out to the people in their communities with town hall meetings so that they can explain projects and programs the assemblies have began to them.
‘’Go to your communities to campaign for Nana Addo for us to win a landslide victory in 2020’’, the women’s organizer appealed.
