The Ashanti Regional Women’s organiser for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Ama Ampomah Monday morning joined members of the Loyal Ladies group to clean the compound of the Atwima Kokoben Health Center.
Taking part in the exercise too was the Member of Parliament for Atwima Kwanwoma, Dr Kwadwo Appiah Kubi.
Presenting some items to the hospital on behalf of the ladies group after the clean up exercise, Madam Ampomah said the NPP is committed to the welfare of the people.
She noted that the Kokoben Health Center plays a crucial role in advancing health care to the people of Atwima Kwanwoma.
She lauded the decision by loyal ladies to provide the Health facility with some items to aid in the work they do.
”It is important that as ladies group and part of the women’s wing of the NPP the Loyal Ladies take delight in helping out with clean up exercise as well as take care of the needs of facilities such as the Kokoben Health Centre and the people of this community”, Madam Ampomah stated.
MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT:
Speaking to this reporter, Dr Appiah Kubi, MP for the area commended the ladies for their exemplary gesture.
He noted that only healthy people can help build society.
The loyal ladies having embarked on this exercise meant that they are concerned with the people of Atwima Kwanwoma, the NPP posited.
He called for support for loyal ladies and the NPP women’s wing to ensure that they carry out their activities efficiently.
LOYAL LADIES:
Speaking on behalf of the National Leadership, General Martha Koduah commended the regional commander as well as district captain for the show of commitment.
The clean up exercise as well as the donation to the health Center, the General noted formed part of the mandate of the Loyal Ladies group.
Afia Asieduwaa, the regional captain flanked by Abigail Quansah, the district commander urged the hospital to use the items provided to support the upkeep of visitors and patients.
NURSING OFFICER:
Receiving the items on behalf of the Medical Director at the Health Center, Madam Lydia Ocran thanked the group for the gesture.
She also promised to use the items for its intended purposes.
