National House of Chiefs send condolence message to Dr. Bawumia
The National House of Chiefs has expressed her condolence to the Vice President; Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia over the passing on of his mother; Hajia Mariama Bawumia on Monday 13th September, 2021.
“The President of the National House of Chiefs, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, his Vice, Naa Pouwele Karbo III, Members and the entire Chieftaincy Institution express our deepest condolences to His Excellency Dr. Alhaji Bawumia, his siblings, family and the Walewale community for the great loss” a statement released by the House said.
Vice President Bawumia lost his mother on Monday after a few days of illness. She was 82 years old.
Her mortal remains have since been laid to rest at Walewale in the North East region.
