An Ashanti regional chairman hopeful of the National Democratic Congress; Mr. Augustus Andrews Nana Kwasi says the Ashanti region will become the hub of the NDC under his leadership.
He says his leadership will help the party fetch more votes in the region, adding his style of leadership appeals to all and sundry in the region.
He is optimistic of winning the regional executives election of the party which is slated for 25th of August, 2018.
Nana Kwasi who is the incumbent Ashanti regional Vice chairman of the party is seeking to lead the party as its regional chairman come 25th August, 2018.
In an interview with Oyerepa news, the aspirant hinted he will adopt the 1992 concept of the party that led the party to poll more votes in the region for the first time.
He therefore called on NDC delegates to give him the chance to steer the affairs of the party for the next four years.
“Grassroots mobilization is paramount in winning elections in Ghana, hence my intent to strengthen the grassroots base of our party in the region”, he explained.
He entreated his fellow contestants to refrain from vile propaganda, back biting, pull him down syndrome against each other as the campaign gets heated.
Currently, three other people are contesting Nana Kwasi for the position.
