A Toyota Land Cruiser with registration number GW 6689 U, belonging to the Assembly man for Wasa Ankwaso has been set ablaze.
Daniel Appiah, who is also the NDC’s constituency Chairman for Wasa Amenfi Central alleged the vehicle was set ablaze by three persons; Kwabena Appiah, Onua and Akwesi Boah, all in Akwaso. He recounts how they first poured salt in the engine and then later destroyed the tyres before finally setting the car on fire. He revealed there were eye-witnesses to the event.
He also alleged in an interview with Awuku Addo of Henex Radio in Bibiani that the trio are planning to set his house on fire too.
He said he has already reported the case to the Police at both Ankwaso and Sefwi Bekwai for investigations.
rawgist.com suspects the act is an act of retaliation connected to a chieftaincy dispute they have been embroiled in.
