The NDC Executives for Atebubu Amantin constituency have burnt their voters register which was given to them towards the party’s November 7th Primaries.
The voters’ register is currently under scrutiny to enable party members remove “foreign” names and also insert names that have been wrongfully omitted.
According to the constituency chairman Mr. Goerge kyereh Mensah, spoke to Rawgist.com, the register they received did not contain the names of NDC members but is full of NPP members. He believes there is something fishy about the register.
Media investigation has however revealed that some of the executives who support the incumbent MP, Hon Sanja Nanja are accusing the DCE, Hon Sampson Owusu Boateng who is contesting the parliamentary seat of registering NPP folks motivated to vote for him.
Hon. Sanja Nanja says he wasn’t there when the register was set ablaze. He said he couldn’t comment on the matter since he was on his campaign tour when he head it.
