Aspiring National Youth Organizer of the NDC; Yaw Brogya Genfi says he will awaken the youth of the NDC and lead them to take power from the NPP in 2020.
In an interview with rawgist.com’s Bernard Buachi, Brogya Genfi explained that the youth is the spine and lifeline of the NDC. “Without the youth, any attempt at winning any election will only be a mirage”, he said.
He believes a lot has gone on within the party that has made a lot of the youth lethargic; a situation he promises to remedy as the National Youth Organizer of the NDC.
Yaw Brogya Genfi filed his nomination last week as a candidate for the National Youth Organizer position of the NDC.
Others who filed their nomination for that position include Wonder Madilo, George Opare Addo and Elikem Kotoko.
Mr. Brogya Genfi says he is happy with the feedback he is receiving so far from party delegates.
The theme for his campaign is Youth awakening for power 2020.
He is campaigning based on a 10-point agenda of awakening enthusiasm and volunteerism of NDC youth towards winning political power in election 2020.
Yaw Brogya Genfi comes to the table with a lot of experience under his belt as far as political and youth mobilization is concerned.
He has been Branch Executive, Constituency Executive, TEIN Executive, Parliamentary Candidate, Regional Youth Organizer, Campaign manager, Trainer of party agents amongst a host of other experiences. “I am privileged to have served as a National Executive Committee member of the NDC and will therefore not be new to the operations of the NEC”, he stated confidently.
Yaw Brogya Genfi, as the Regional youth organizer, managed the youth of the region with the second largest number of constituencies in the country; one of his numerous edges over his competitors in this race.
