The Ashanti Regional Minister, Peter Anarfi-Mensah says he might withdraw from the National Democratic Congress parliamentary race.
The minister has already picked and filed his nomination to contest for the Ahafo North Constituency seat.
The minister’s intention has created tension within the area with some people questioning his motive to contest the seat which was won on slender margin by the incumbent Akwesi Adusei of the NDC.
Speaking to ultimate Fm’s Joseph Oppong Brenya in an exclusive interview, the minister said his earlier decision to contest the seat was born out of calls by the people for more development.
Touching on projects embarked on by the government, Mr. Anarfi said government has done a lot in the Ashanti and he is considering a photo exhibition in all district to showcase achievement of the Mahama led government.
He also advised government communicators to speak volume of government projects.
