Ghana Political News-Aspiring Communications Officer of the NDC in the Ashanti regional Abass Nurudeen has shot down assertions that he has dissociated himself from Joseph Yammin.
A write-up circulated on social media and purported to have been written by one Prince Nyarko sort to claim that Abass failed to file his nomination papers together with Joseph Yammin and other members of Team Yammin because Abass had realized how divisive Hon. Yammin is and decided against teaming up with his campaign.
In a quick rebuttal however, Abass Nurudeen explained that the assertion was false, adding that he could not file on that day due to financial difficulties.
“So for prince Nyarko to impute such ill-motives into same shows how frightened he has become at the soaring popularity of Hon. JOSEPH YAMMIN”, he said.
He reaffirmed his support for Joseph Yammin’s candidature.
Joseph Yammin is one of the front runners for the Ashanti regional NDC Chairmanship position.

Re: ABASS NURUDEEN DISASSOCIATES HIMSELF FROM TEAM YAMMIN
My attention has been drawn to a write-up circulating on social media purportedly authored by Prince Nyarko, aide to Nana Akwasi,a regional chairman aspirant.
In the said write-up, prince Nyarko alleges,inter alia,that my inability to file my papers with other members of Team Yammin on Monday is an indication of how divisive Hon.Yammin is and must therefore not be elected as Ashanti Regional chair.
First and foremost, my reason for not filing on Monday was purely financial and nothing else.
So for prince Nyarko to impute such ill-motives into same shows how frightened he has become at the soaring popularity of Hon. JOSEPH YAMMIN.
Secondly,it exposes the poverty of reasoning of prince Nyarko,a close confidante of Nana Kwesi..and this is the more reason why we can’t entrust Ashanti region into his hands …because if this is the level of thinking of his ADVISOR,it tells you how doomed Ashanti Region will become if we entrust the destiny of NDC into their hands.
The said write-up is Mischievous at best and Amateurish at worse.
AND LET ME SAY WITHOUT EQUIVOCATION,THAT MY COMMITMENT TO THE CANDIDATURE OF JOSEPH YAMMIN REMAIN UNALLOYED…AND l BELIEVE I HAVE DEMONSTRATED THAT IN MY RADIO PROGRAMS. JOSEPH YAMMIN REMAIN OUR BEST BET FOR 202O AND l URGE ASHANTI NDC DELEGATES TO CONFIRM HIS CANDIDATURE COME 25TH AUGUST 2018.
I urge all loyalist of Joseph yammin(like myself) to treat this malicious publication as an unintelligent attempt to cause confusion within our ranks and by extension shift our focus from the imminent victory of Joseph Yammin as Ashanti Regional chairman.
In the battle between good and evil,evil may enjoy an early victory but good shall eventually triumph over evil.
