Ghanaian rapper and entrepreneur; Signal has outdoored his new record label; Regal Dynasty which many believe is set to make a great impact on the Ghanaian music industry.
Signal who spoke to rawgist.com expressed great emotions as he saw one of his long-standing dreams become a reality. He believes regal dynasty is going to be a game changer as far as Ghanaian music is concerned. He also sees Regal Dynasty doing exploits within a short time on an Africa-wide scale and later taking its position on a global stage.
Rapper; Signal,wants to break the general perception held by many Ghanaians that rap music is for school dropouts and “lazy” people.
About Signal
The 22 year-old rapper known outside showbiz as Tettey Solomon, therefore embarked on a mission to combine rap wizardry with academic feats.
Signal, a Nokia rap Africa finalist has since garnered numerous academic feats starting from Ghana Senior High School where he scored a distinction in his WASSCE upto the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and
Technology where he offered Biochemistry and Biotechnology and graduated with a peerless GPA of 3.72; a feat laid claim to internationally only by rapper Jermaine Cole (J.Cole).
He has been rapping since he was 10 and by the age of 16, he was already affiliated to Nu_Africa Records. He later moved on to De-genius selection where he recorded with the likes of Raquel, Kesse and many others.
Whiles at KNUST, signal did a lot of TV commercials, the most notable one being the Next Big Thing in Ghana Rap Competition.
Signal, who is working on his next album ” MGM EP” already has the “Accolade mixtape” to his credit.
