The Northern Regional Police command have retrieved 3 AK47 Assault riffles and 160 ammunition from 
one Dapaa Jiboni.
The arms and ammunition were hidden in a sack of rice.
Dapaa Jiboni was traveling from Sankpala station in Tamale to Kportor; a village at Kintampo in the Brong Ahafo region.
rawgist.com’s Michael Amoateng reports that the suspect who was on the wanted list of the Kintampo Police buys the ammunition from Chereponi and Bawku .
Deputy Regional Police Commander; ACP Akrofi Oyirifi says there is a chieftaincy dispute among two gates, Bawa and Chawa and Dapaa Jiboni who belongs to the Bawa gate buys ammunition from Chereponi and Bawku to be used to create mayhem.
He was to transport the ammunition to Kportor, a village in Kintampo. The Sack which was found in Sankpala station without the suspect has been conveyed to the Tamale Police station for further investigation.
