Former Ashanti regional NDC Secretary; Joseph Yammin says Ghana’s greatest problem is the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He also states in the same breathe that the NPP’s main problem is its flagbearer; Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo.
Joseph Yammin made these assertions on Kumasi based Abusua FM Thursday.
Speaking on the E-transmission of results for the December polls, Yammin wondered why the NPP always sought to paint a negative picture of the elections and make it look like they are being cheated even when it is their own proposal. “Every cutthroat is afraid of sleeping with an exposed throat” he said in support of his argument.
He said during the NPP’s regime, voting materials could get finished at a particular polling centre and some had to be brought from elsewhere to enable the voting to continue “even though excess ballots were always added to the total number of voters”.
“Mahama doesn’t need to rig the elections to win and so the NDC won’t waste time on how to rig the elections”, he states and adds that the NDC government’s projects will speak for themselves.
“We are focused on telling the people what we have done and ask them for another chance based on that. We hope and believe the good people of this country will give Mahama a second chance”, Yammin stressed.
