Some groups within the opposition New Patriotic Party in the Offinso North Constituency of the Ashanti Region have threatened to vote against the NPP Member of Parliament for the area if he chooses to contest the 2016 elections.
The members are predicting doom for their MP if he contests the sit on the ticket of the party.
They want a new candidate to represent the party in the next elections.
A leader of the group Dennis Kobbina says Collins Ntim has failed to deliver on his campaign promise of developing the area.
“During his tenure as both DCE and MP for this area, nothing good has been done for the constituency. The only thing he can mention is the ambulance training school which is not benefitting residents in anyway”, he said.
