Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) says the Party has capable men to reverse the current bad economic situation of the country.
He said the bad economic situation is a result of bad policies of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government over the past seven years.
The NPP Flagbeaer made this known when he paid a courtesy call on Nana Dr Ampim Darko V, Kwanyakohene at his palace at Agona Kwanyako.
Nana Akufo–Addo is on a five-day tour of the Central Region to tell the people to give him the nod on November,7 in the Presidential election.
The NPP Flagbeaer was accompanied by Mr Kwamena Bartels, former Minister of the Interior, Professor Dominic Fobi, former Education Minister and MP for Assin South, Mr Robert Kutin, Regional Chairman of NPP and other executives of the party.
According to Nana Akufo-Addo the bad policies and programmes of the NDC government had brought untold hardship to the masses of Ghanaians.
Nana Akufo-Addo said Ghanaians are expecting credible, free, fair and non-violence elections.
He said when NPP is given the chance to rule the nation, it would create jobs and wealth for the people, especially the unemployed youth.
Nana Akufo–Addo said Ghanaians wish for better government that could give them hope and aspirations to raise their living standard.
Nana Ampim Darko said his expectations are that Ghanaians would vote massively for Nana Akufo-Addo since this is the third time he is contesting the Presidential election.
The chief wished Nana a good luck in the November 7.
Nana Akufo-Addo also addressed the chiefs and the people of Agona Asafo.
At Kwanyako and Agona Asafo, Nana Akufo-Addo introduced NPP Parliamentary Candidate, Mr James Owusu Barnes to the chiefs and people.
He asked the people to give the needed support to enable the NPP to win massively to change the fragile economy.
Nana Kwao Ponsi II, Adontenhene of Agona Asafo praised Nana Akufo-Addo for paying courtesy call on to the chiefs.
At Agona Swedru Nana Akufo-Addo also called on Nana Aseidu Kobina Botwe II, Swedruhene and his subjects and appealed to them to vote massively for him.
At the Palace, Nana Akufo-Addo introduced Mrs Cynthia Morrison, Agona West Parliamentary Candidate to them and asked the people to vote for her.
Nana Botwe called on supporters of NPP to desist from acts that could spark off violence in the upcoming general election.
