Former Deputy Ashanti regional Minister; Joseph Yammin has revealed that the an NPP stalwart and parliamentary candidate for the Kintampo North Constituency is the manager for God is love funclub; one of the microfinance institutions that has duped its customers of several millions of cedis in the Brong Ahafo region.
Alexander Gyan, Branch Manager for God is love funclub-Kintampo also beat two people; Adu Gyan and Isaac Boahene to become NPP Parliamentary candidate for the area.
Joseph Yammin who was speaking on Kumasi-based Angel FM was unhappy that people were desperate to link the President and his wife to the microfinance scams going on in the Brong Ahafo region. “Unfortunately, it is the NPP and her communicators who try to drum this falsehood into the minds of the poor victims of these scams”, he said adding however that it is one of their own who is championing fraud in the area.
“I wonder why Eric Opoku and co are not bringing these vital pieces of information out to the public and they are allowing the NPP to push it onto the government and they themselves sit back and act as saints”. He reiterated that the first family has nothing at all to do with these microfinance companies scamming innocent people.
Alexander Gyan, known also as Sika Gari is said to have dazzled NPP delegates with untold amounts of cash; a situation that ensured his victory in the party’s parliamentary primaries.
Joseph Yammin wants the rank and file of the NDC to be bold to put out information when others are peddling falsehoods to tarnish the image of the party and the government.
